Senior / Principal Engineer, Electrical Architect

Your tasks

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  2. Define and develop hardware architectures to meet internal and external requirement, performance, reliability, and cost targets.
  3. Conceptualize EE architecture design for new project acquisitions, conducting cross-architecture review and integrating EE / System / SW architecture for product design.
  4. Demonstrate expertise in circuit design and EE functional block, guiding the EE team through technical domain. 
  5. Conduct structural calculations for designs.
  6. Formulate comprehensive hardware specifications, schematics, and possess adeptness with PCB layouts design.
  7. Prototype and validate hardware design, conducting results analysis and making iterative improvements.
  8. Liaise with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth product production and launch.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, standards and best practices related to hardware architecture and design.
  10. Engage in design reviews, providing technical guidance and recommendations.
  11. Manage and maintain Technical Product Documentation throughout the project’s Product Life Cycle.

Your profile

  1. Bachelor’s degree, major in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  2. Proven experience with more than 5+ years’ work experience in Electrical and Architecture design, preferably within automotive industry.
  3. Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design, good knowledge of Electrical Development Process cycle
  4. Familiarity with Development tools such as ZUKEN, A3/8D, DFMEA, DRBFM, FTA is preferred.
  5. Capable to managing high workload situations and performing effectively under time constraints.
  6. Proficiency in delivering and leading technical content in a structured and systematic manner.
  7. A collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
