Your tasks
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Give direction and supervise the production operations to assure adherence to safety, quality, delivery, schedule and cost requirements. Direct scope includes assemblers; provides leadership and general direction for Maintenance and Process Technicians and Material Handlers on assigned shift. Adheres and executes shop floor management systems.
- Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
- Creates and revises procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
THE ENVIRONMENT
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as safety toe shoes, safety vests, gloves at applicable locations and any other station determined PPE.
- The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
Your profile
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- 2 or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or Management
- 1 + years specific experience within Automotive manufacturing,
- Understanding of Lean Principles
- Strong Problem Solving Skills
- Able to communicate effectively,
- Computer skills (basic MS Office applications; SAP/BOM; email)
- Knowledge of Quality principles / SPC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Presentation Skills
