Java Full Stack Developer

Role Summary

This role is responsible for full-stack development activities on the Motion Platform contributing to application-independent platform development as well as application-specific enhancements. Supports the evolution of Motion-based solutions through backend and frontend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Motion-related applications and platform capabilities.
• Design and implement Java Spring based backend services and APIs.
• Develop frontend solutions and user interfaces for Motion applications.
• Contribute to reusable and application-agnostic Motion platform components.
• Support platform upgrades, framework updates, and technical modernization activities.
• Participate in agile development processes including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with technical leads to ensure compliance with architecture and development standards.
• Perform bug fixing, maintenance, and performance improvements.
• Support automated testing and quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and tooling.

Country Governance & Strategy

Description

• Ensure compliance with country-specific governance requirements, local labour laws, and applicable organizational policies.
• Contribute to the organization's IT strategy (including Core Value Adoption initiatives) and support the execution of value-driven strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders, including the respective Central Support Functions, as required.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to project deliverables.
• Exposure to end-to-end processes, including requirements gathering, implementation, testing, and support.
• Experience in working within agile or iterative delivery environments is preferred.

• Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of core concepts, tools, and technologies relevant to the role.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Experience with standard industry tools and platforms used within the function.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience).
