The Health & Safety Analyst will:
The Safety & Health Analyst plays a key role in supporting and improving the company’s Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) programs within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role provides technical expertise and analytical support in fire protection, loss prevention, contractor safety, and ESH project management. The Safety & Health Analyst partners with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to evaluate risks, maintain compliance, prevent incidents, and drive continuous improvement across production facilities.
This position conducts risk assessments on manufacturing processes, evaluates facility fire‑protection and suppression systems, develops loss‑prevention strategies, and manages contractor work‑control processes. The Safety & Health Analyst also supports ESH capital projects, system upgrades, and compliance initiatives while promoting a strong safety culture built on engagement, accountability, and hazard awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fire Protection & Loss Prevention
- Assess fire‐protection systems, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and company requirements.
- Support inspections, testing, and maintenance of alarms, suppression systems, sprinklers, extinguishers, and fire‑water systems.
- Identify fire and explosion hazards in manufacturing operations and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Analyze asset‑loss trends and develop preventative solutions to reduce downtime, equipment failures, and facility risks.
- Contractor Safety
- Manage the contractor safety program, including prequalification, onboarding, and training compliance.
- Review contractor work scopes to determine ESH requirements for high‑risk tasks (hot work, confined space, LOTO, working at heights, excavation, etc.).
- Conduct field observations and audits to verify adherence to site expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Support safe‑work permits, job safety analyses (JSAs), and contractor incident investigations.
- ESH Project Management
- Lead and support ESH projects related to hazard reduction, compliance improvements, and system upgrades.
- Prepare project plans, track milestones, manage documentation, and communicate progress with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on design reviews to ensure safe installation and modification of equipment and processes.
- Coordinate capital and operational projects that enhance safety performance and reduce risk.
- Data Analysis, Reporting & Compliance
- Analyze incident, audit, inspection, and near‑miss data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain ESH records, metrics, and dashboards; prepare reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Support OSHA, EPA, and NFPA compliance efforts, including inspections, program updates, and regulatory reviews.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments across production areas.
- Culture & Continuous Improvement
- Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging employees and contractors at all levels.
- Develop and deliver training on fire protection, contractor safety, and loss‑prevention topics.
- Participate in or lead incident investigations and root‑cause analyses.
- Recommend improvements to procedures, safe‑work practices, and engineering controls.
- Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Ihr Profil
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field ( or equivalent experience)
- 3 years in manufacturing, industrial operations or construction safety
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.

- 5 years in manufacturing, industrial operations or construction safety
Environment
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
- The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
- The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

The starting annual salary for this role is $70,686 a year.
