Global Lead Buyer for Production Material - Filler Material (m/w/d)

• Coordinate the ContiTech Purchasing Team in the EMEA region for production material to be in line with sourcing strategy and agreed guidelines.
• Purchasing Ambassador for the region including coordination of activities with ContiTech & Group Purchasing.
• Meet cost requirements, implement and conduct cost saving activities.
• Active Support, coordination between Purchasing and SCM.
•  Active Support, coordination between Purchasing and R&D
• Support implementation of Conti standard business processes, according to global standards.
• Coordination between implementation team and local process owners.
• Support S4 Hana Implementation Project (Imp@ct).
• Run and support global/regional/plant purchasing optimization projects, ensure alignment with global/ BA direction.
• Coordinate in line with Continental purchasing standards.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and processes at all times.
• Ensure proper communication of policies and processes.

• University degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) and/or extensive experience, related certifications
• 5+ years of purchasing experience, preferably rubber industry
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong networking experience
• Experience in variety of projects related to purchasing, cost improvements, efficiency gains. As well, experience in organizational development and transformation
• Minimum 3 years experience in leading position
• International experience and intercultural understanding 
• Experience and understanding of international trade
• International communication skills, fluent in English, other languages preferable
