Technical Compliance Manager (Production Materials)

The Group Supplier Development team is looking for a new team member, located in Lousado (Portugal). The new team member will be reporting locally but working directly for the Business Area Group Functions Purchasing in Hanover (Germany).

This professional will take an active role in:

• Developing, implementing, maintaining and improving the Technical Compliance Management System (TCMS) for Production Materials Purchasing;
• Be responsible for the supplier internet page;
• Support the maintenance of purchasing rules (House of Rules).

Its also part of the main responsibilities:

• Risk Monitoring & Analysis: Identify potential technical compliance concerns and risks; Setup and perform monitoring activities to actively identify potential technical compliance risks; Report analysis results to management;
• Assessment & management of TCMS risks: Act as contact partner for questions and concerns regarding technical complaince in Production Material Purchasing; Improve audit and assessment processes with regards to technical compliance aspects;
• Culture management: Create awareness for technical compliance; Prepare and perform traget group oriented trainings
• Supplier Communication: Maintain supplier internet page; Coordinate content creation / adjustment for the supplier page; Act as gatekeeper in terms of quality and information provided on the supplier internet page.
• Internal Rules: Maintain internal rules in the House of Rules of Continental and communicate rule updates internally in an appropriate timming.

• University degree in Business Administration/ Economics, Engineering or similar;
• Extensive business experience of at least five years in Purchasing, Quality or other similar business functions; Experience in technical compliance or related quality fields; Worked in international teams preferable;
• Advanced knowledge in the areas of Technical compliance, Purchasing processes, Risk management & internal controls;
• Good communication skills;
• Analyticall Skills;
• Expert in MS Office (Power BI skill is an advantage);
• Fluent in English;
• High ability to work in a (virtual) teams;
