Purchasing Specialist

Responsible for development and implementation of strategy and negotiations relating to supply and pricing of Indirect Materials and services (Marketing & Sales related) for the location. Dedicated Specialist to support procurement processes in the location, aiming to improve the service level from central functions and improve the speed and quality.
 

• Administration of local purchasing requisitions forwarding correct buyer or  Source evaluation, negotiation purchase terms (dentify and implement cost reduction opportunities and alternatives) implementation and/or delivery of materials and services.
• Management of new supplier registry and evaluation performance.
• Maintenance of service contracts along with legal department.  
• Control of information flow to suppliers and negotiations on all issues together with Corporate Purchasing.(payments and claims). Responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies together with purchasing responsible and local user.
• Training internal stakeholders. Keep local procedures and systems always updated.
• Leading Purchasing related surveys periodically to evaluate internal stakeholders' satisfaction. Keep all local team updated about advances of the requests. 
• Frequently training with NA team. 
• Define relevant local KPIs and create montlhy reports. (satisfaccion cliente interno,serv proveedor,tiempo aprobacion SC , savings.
• Tracking open SC with internal clients.
• Special projects.
• Follow up internal purchasing needs with the internal stakeholders, administrative collaboration to generate savings in the location.
