IT Safety & Compliance Manager

As an IT Safety & Compliance Manager you will be responsible for the secure and compliant delivery of IT Infrastructure services to the Business Area Autonomous Mobility in China. You ensure that the services are compliant with Chinese legislation and Continental’s security policies. Furthermore, you are in charge of executing regular audits together with Cybersecurity specialists and continuous monitoring of security threats and compliance violations.

-Assure that IT Infrastructure services run in accordance with Chinese Cybersecurity Law and Continental’s security policies

-Analyze dependencies, risks, and vulnerabilities for data center facilities and IT Infrastructure services such as Storage, Network, HPC, VDI, and Cloud

-Define regular audit processes and conduct security audits together with Continental’s Cybersecurity experts

-Document audit results and initiate preventive or counter measures

-Asses existing, new or changed regulations on data handling in China together with the AM business, Chinese map services provider and other 3rd parties

-Continuously monitor and evaluate security software and other solutions which are required by map suppliers to work in the agreed framework

-Consult the internal customer Autonomous Mobility on pre-requisites and dependencies with existing IT services for the development of new solutions in China

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field/comparable qualification or vocational education with relevant professional experience

-Experience with security technologies, security policies, risk & vulnerability assessments, security audit definition and execution

-General knowledge of Chinese cybersecurity law, standards, and regulations regarding data processing and dependencies with IT Infrastructure

-Proven experience with safety and compliance related processes

-Solid understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies such as Storage, HPC, VDI, Network, and Cloud services

-Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills

-Analytical thinking and structured approach to eliminate threats

-High standard of professional integrity and trustworthiness

-Fluent in English

-Willingness to travel, also internationally
