Business partner to Customer Center Head driving strategic and tactical direction for the long-term financial success of the unit.

Sales Price Controlling

Coordination & preparation of annual/monthly sales forecast. Reporting of actual sales figures and analysis of deviations to budget and forecast. Tracking of customer price reductions and lump sum productivity payments.  Drive team to optimize CPC’s and productivity payments to Continental’s benefit

Product Calculation for Re-Pricing

Financial Performance

Control and verification of budget data for customer center P&L statement. Participate in budget reviews with the plant during the budget preparation phase.  Drive team to ensure budget data is optimized, accurate, and delivered on time.

Forecast, analysis and reporting of customer P&L statement. Review of monthly plant results and clarification of deviations to budget with the plant.  Drive team to optimize P&L performance and strive to achieve high margins on all products in the customer unit portfolio

Tracking of profitability for the customer center, including risks and opportunities as well as cost reduction and profit improvement actions.  Drive team to ensure they understand current profitability of customer unit by product and drive improvement opportunities.   

Customer Profitability Tracking

Calculation of contribution margin (revenue/unit – variable costs/unit) on product level.  Partner with team to improve margins to optimal levels on all products via projects to reduce variable costs (e.g. DTC activity), improve ASP.

Cash Flow Focus

Tracking of cost and reimbursements for customer funded tooling. 

Forecasting and reporting of balance sheet items: accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, price liabilities, warranty liabilities, and E&O.  Ensure timely payment of invoices due and quick resolution of overdue accounts receivable.  Partner and drive customer team, plans and AR team to ensure all accounts receivable are paid within customer payment terms or faster if feasible.





Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related

Controlling, Finance, SAP(ERP), Global PS(BW)

5-10 Years Controlling/Accounting

Planning and Reporting Experience

Experience with Global Teams
