As BE Test Engineer Sr Staff the main role will be:
To have a successful introduction you must review detailed specifications with information about the test equipment and SW developed for local production, what kind of tests shall be performed to assure the highest quality for   our products.
Support the production areas as well as participation or driver in strategic improvement projects.
Act as an interface between R&D and production lines and keep both parts synchronized all the time.
In collaboration with LPL and Planner ensure that the SW & HW developed in our R&D center and external vendors are transferred towards the Continental Local production lines in optimal conditions.
High interaction of handlers developed for testing applications, as well as interaction with IT tools to data management.
Core Team participant for all test relevant series production issues and actions: test flows, change management, FPY improvement, test time reduction.
Support to QA to performing the evaluation of test equipment (SW in production, MSA, pPCA) and prepare the release.
Propose and lead testing projects for the introduction of new testing technologies, as well as Road Map projects and technology innovation, getting internal and external collaboration in the expert field.
Participate in local and global technical communities that set the standards for Continental. As well as external Continental communities to keep close tendencies, technologies, suppliers, Standardization, etc.
As a testing expert, you must be Coach to all Testing Team Members.

Bachelor's degree (Technical profile: Software, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics.)

EXPERIENCE
• 5  years on Automotive experience.
• 3 years of experience in Test SW , TestExec, TestStand, CVI or similar.
• 3 years of experience in Flashing app , HW adapters as well as Flashing problems solving.
• 3 years of experience in the introduction of production technologies and improvement projects.

HARD SKILLS
• Demonstrated experience in requirements analysis.
• Hight knowledge of Automotive Communication Standards (CAN Unicom & SEND), Flexray (Uicom 3).
• Competent on use of Automotive testing tools and Software (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, Test box, etc).
• High related with Flashing, Vision SW/HW.
• Basic HW integration to Test Equipment
• Medium knowledge of microcontrollers.

• Good English language skills (written and spoken).

SOFT SKILLS
• Team player, excellent communication skills, work under pressure, proactive, self-motivated
• Communication to internal or external customers
• Passion for teach and learn and a structured way of working
• Project administration, quality tools analytics manage, good communication skills, customer, and quality orientation (KPIs)
• Microsoft Office Knowledge (PBI, Excel, Project)
• Knowledge of Safety critical systems design techniques and methods (e.g. ISO 26262)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex test systems.
• Good organizational - within teams and multiple locations worldwide.
