Production Operator - 12-hour Swing Shift

ContiTech, a division of Continental, located in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa is looking for a diverse group of new employees who are willing and able to excel in a team-based work environment.

Successful candidates will be required to:
• Safely operate various types of industrial machinery in a fast-paced, computerized, quality-oriented environment.
• Learn and continue to rotate through a variety of jobs in the hose production area.
• We offer different shift structures.  Associates can begin their career working straight nights, with a substantial shift differential, on a rotating schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 day weekend every other weekend).  Associates can also work 12-hour rotating shifts that includes shift differentials.  Finally, established associates can be considered for a straight day shift on the same 2/2/3 rotation.  (Associates will work approximately fifteen 12-hour shifts per month with every other weekend off. Shifts rotate between nights and days. The plant is in operation 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, approximately 350 days per year.) 

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; previous manufacturing experience preferred.
