  • PM/R&D data governance
  • Ensures the coverage of the full scope of budget/budget+1 & 3-5 yrs. planning (in alignment with the other PM/R&D data governance specialist)
  • Defines/adjusts, implements/rolls out and maintains the PM/R&D relevant parts of the standard & KPIs across Continental Automotives PM & R&D communities. Data governance is at the core of the Continental Automotive’s component demand planning activities which include setting the standard, observing its compliance, and correcting any incompliant behaviors with the affected stakeholders on a worldwide scale
  • Aligns with BAs / Segments counterparts that KPIs are kept within the target range and that the standard is adhered to.
  • Ensures data availability, quality and consistency together with the BAs / Segments counterparts
  • Provides regular KPI reporting
  • Provides (holiday) replacement (in time of absence) and creates the corresponding documentation
  • Continuous improvement projects support
  • Affecting the areas of PM/R&D, the PM/R&D the Data Governance Specialist supports each continuous improvement project as a set project team member
  • Trainings
  • Owns the training material and processes oversight
  • Develops/adjusts, implements/rolls out and maintains the PM/R&D
  • Either provides trainings to end-users and/or trainers (e.g. following a train-the-trainers approach)
  • First line tool support (e.g. Mendix)
  • Owns & executes first line tool support for the PM / R&D communities
  • Communications
  • Regularly communicates with the BAs / Segments (e.g. progress updates) through the most efficient channels (e.g. Intranet, ConNext, Newsletter, …)
  • Flexibility
  • Picks up tasks (as needed) beyond the defined scope & supports the team within all areas (as needed)


Essential Skills/Qualifications

  • In-depth processes, data and systems knowledge and the willingness to deep dive into any new challenges
  • End-to-end implementation power from design, to roll out, to training and finally to maintenance
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Willingness to balance the workload within the team by picking up tasks of other team members that reside outside the originally foreseen area of responsibility
