Industrial Designer - Continental Tire Design Group

The position is being filled as a deputy role for the maternity leave period.

› Develop the design of new tire lines for Passenger Cars and Light Trucks (tread pattern and sidewall)

› Identify and translate market needs into design concepts

› Participate in project teams from start to product launch

› Communicate concepts to design team, multidisciplinary project teams, Marketing organization and external customers

› Work across all product segments and customer groups

› Achieve innovative and appropriate design solutions for Continental Tires and its various brands

› Completion of a bachelor degree in Industrial Design (or equivalent)

› Strong visualization skills: from quick technical concept sketching to complete presentation sketches, 3D CAD modeling and rendering

› Excellent English skills

› High willingness to travel to different R&D locations worldwide

› Supporting engineering 3D CAD modelling and drawings

› Willingness to understand technical boundaries and manufacturing processes and working closely with engineers

› Excellent storytelling and narrative skills especially around your craft

› Self-direction towards excellent work outcomes and a comfort level in complex and sometimes ambiguous environments

› Working in a highly motivated Industrial Design team located in Puchov and Hanover

Starting Salary

› a fresh graduate is 2 000€/Brutto + var. part of salary represents average monthly salary 2 300€/Brutto.

› an experienced person is 2 300€/Brutto + var. part of salary represents average monthly salary 2 700€/Brutto.

Salary will be increasing by a gained knowledge up to 3400€/Brutto.
