Shopfloor Maintenance Engineer

• Responsible for maintaining in initial conditions the equipment or mechanism in charge, through the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans and optimize equipment by applying re-engineering to improve MTBF, MTTR and TTA, reducing downtime.
• Responsible for spare pare managements, Max & Min calculation.
• Responsible for managing the technicians in charge coordinating workload, escalation paths, development people according to technical skills and knowledges required.
• Evaluation and search for the best spare parts, to guarantee the functionality, quality levels and productivity of the equipment in charge.
• Suppliers’ development and evaluation.
• Optimize production technologies in terms of quality, time and cost.
• Participation in local and global technical communities that set the standards for Continental.
  Execute work-related tasks and activities requested / assigned by the leader in charge.
• Support on Introduction production technologies according to CAP0603076 and other specific procedures of Continental Automotive.
• Lead and promote continuous improvement efforts for factory operation. Provide feedback to industrialization team regarding lessons learned and best practices for process system architecture.
• Contribute to the accomplishment of Operational KPIs (OEE, Scrap, 0Km)
• Contribute 100% to the strategies established for the plant (for example, 5s, CIM, Strategic Projects, etc.) and that are applied to the position

•  Bachelor’s degree in electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 1 - 3 Years of experience in the automotive or electronic industry in maintenance field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in shop floor technical support.
• Project management knowledge.
• TPM knowledge

• English medium / high
• Teamwork and lead other engineers, be self-motivated, clear and effective communication skills, well organized, teamwork skills.
• Electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
• Electric and pneumatic diagrams interpretation
• Automation knowledge
