Test Engineer Force & Moment (m/f/d) - REF75964P

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer Force & Moment to join our team in Hanover, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing force and moment tests for our cutting-edge products in the automotive industry.

• Design and set up test methods for force and moment measurements
• Develop and implement test plans and procedures
• Operate and maintain sophisticated test equipment and data acquisition systems
• Conduct force and moment tests on flat-trac systems
• Analyze test data using statistical methods and specialized software
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve product performance based on test results
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes
• Support development of software tools for test preparation and data analysis
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing

• Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Several years of experience in tire development or tire testing
• Proficiency in force and moment testing methodologies and equipment
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python)
• Understanding of vehicle dynamics or tire mechanics
• Knowledge of sensor technologies and instrumentation
• Experience with test equipment operation and maintenance
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other test machine locations
