The Senior Infrastructure Program Manager is responsible and accountable in driving, leading and managing the Implementation of Greenfields, Brownfield, Extensions/Expansion and Rented locations in the Region, within the specified time, budget and quality framework to the satisfaction of the customers. In charge of Cross Infrastructure, Carve-in/Carve-out and Major Projects.
The Senior Infrastructure Program Manager acts as an entrepreneur for the project.
They have the full control of the approved project budget, numbers of involved functions/ team members regarding capacity usage or external spending in alignment with existing policies/procedures (e. g. eCR, CEOS).
Project Definition & Planning:
▪ Define project objectives (financial, scheduling and quality goals)
▪ Select and negotiate project (core) team members in conjunction with the line management
▪ Establish adequate project organization (meeting structure, information/ knowledge exchange, documentation, archiving)
▪ Setup an initial project plan in accordance with the valid processes (phases, deliverables, milestones/ Q-Gates, etc.)
▪ Ensure compliance to valid processes incl. legal requirements
Steering of the project:
▪ Track the project progress, define corrective measures if deviating form the plan
▪ Control the usage of the released project budget and project resources per approved project plan
▪ Decide and report the overall project status in accordance with the financial and quality KPIs supported by a valid tool and process set
▪ Install and perform professional change management
▪ Perform opportunity & risk assessment, control and steer the implementation of opportunity & risk measures
▪ Escalate issues if necessary
▪ Ensure that all project objectives are met in the required quality
Team & Stakeholder management.:
▪ Lead the project team members functionally
▪ Actively manage stakeholder expectations, inform and involve stakeholders on a regular basis and in an appropriate manner
▪ Assign work packages to the respective project team members
▪ Help build up a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project
Single point of contact of most Program Management Activities and Topics:
▪ Responsible for most of the program management activities in the region.
▪ Align and coordinate all regional projects together with functional lead and team members
▪ Responsible for project team members skills development (training and coaching)
Program/Project Manager of Main/Core IT Project team:
▪ Initiates Project Kickoff with IT and Business Units
▪ Definition of Project deliverables
▪ Responsible for Project Charter definition with IT CC in agreement with Business/Steering Committee
Administration/ Organization / Coordination of all IT internal major project tasks:
▪ Initiates Project Kickoff with IT and Business Units
▪ Definition of Project deliverables
▪ Final acceptance & functional tests
▪ Technical documentation
▪ Preparation/organization of operational support (Handover to Operation)
Representation of project:
▪ Represent project in customer (internal/external) meetings
▪ Represent project-interests in supplier meetings
▪ Negotiate changes and claims with the customer based on professional, well documented change management
▪ Protect confidentiality of project data
Consulting of Business project owner in terms of IT standards & - solutions:
▪ Collection of all IT related project demands
▪ Ensures implementation of Continental IT standards
▪ Consolidate and Escalate all Non-standard IT demands to right CC - head
Information/consultation of IT - CCs to be involved:
▪ Definition of required IT – competencies (possibly together with CC – head)
▪ Staffing of IT-project team (project lead, sub-project leads)
▪ Project members to be defined by sub-project leads
Tvoj profil
• Education / Certification: Degree in College and University
• Professional Experience: At least 3-5 years’ experience IT or electronics industry in a variety of functions
• Project and/or Process Experience: Project leader (e.g. at least 2 Major/Greenfield International project)
• Leadership Experience: Project Lead/Manager for more than 2 years or showing strong leadership or entrepreneurial skills (e.g. in Our Behaviors)
• Intercultural / International Experience: Has worked as a Project Manager in an international team
