Senior data platform Engineer

We are looking for Senior data platform Engineer who is extremely passionate about data engineering for our wide range of business applications and products targeted towards various industries and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Own modules of ContiTech’s ONE Data & Analytics Platform and work closely with the platform Architect to develop key features.

• Own data pipelines for specific business applications running on ContiTech’s ONE Data & Analytics Platform

• Design, code, test to meet requirements.

• Support DevOps for various Data & Analytics applications

• Apply latest design methodologies pertaining to data engineering ensuring pragmatic, clean and sustainable implementations.

• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.

• Document solutions using flowchart, layouts, diagrams, charts etc.

• Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve the solutions.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills 

• Expert in following o Java o Scala o mongoDB o Python

• Advanced knowledge in o Azure CLI Internal o Azure Resource mgmt o Terraform / OpenToFu o (postgre)SQL o ADF

• Good to have o Kubernetes incl. yaml scripting o grafana & Prometheus o RestAPI o Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 data structure.

Experience

• Overall 8+ years of experience.

• About 5+ year of experience in AI/ML

• 5+ experience in Java, Scala, Mongo DB

• 3+ years of experience in Terraform, Azure, AWS

• 2+ year of experience working in Agile

Education

• Bachelor’s degree with focus on computer science / software engineering, mathematics or other natural sciences.
• MCA with professional experience
• Other relevant education streams with strong tech experiences can be considered.

Other skills

• Experience of agile software development methodologies

• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)

• Great team player and ability to work in a highly international team

• Willingness to sometimes travel nationally and internationally to various Continental locations and external development partner locations.

• Willingness & drive to learn new things.

• Experience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins etc.

• Contribute to data & analytics community in Contitech.

• You will be part of India Delivery center in Bangalore.
