Our Halstead, KS location is seeking an experienced Production Administrative Assistant to join our team! As the Production Admin, you will assist the Department Supervisors and the Production Manager in daily tasks that require great attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Primary Job Duties:
Assist with the day-to-day clerical activities within the Production team.
Weekly review of payroll in SAP; enter time, make corrections, and add PTO when necessary.
Weekly Overtime review (planned vs. actual)
Maintaining employee requests for time off (gaining approval from supervisors and adding to schedule/calendar).
Maintaining employee attendance records and points. Notifying supervisors when employees have reached unacceptable number of points.
Gathering, correcting, and updating daily production reports prior to daily reporting meeting.
Assist with new hires introduction to trainer, department tours, and timekeeping process.
Work with scheduling team to keep order schedule organized and updated as needed.
Assist in coordinating the inventory process with production team (currently done annually).
Manage employee access to safety equipment in vending machines.
Perform other administrative duties assigned by Production leadership team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred experience with SAP
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Associates degree in business-related field or equivalent experience required.
Ability to communicate effectively and thoroughly.
