VED_ESS_Customer Project Manager_Regident Engineer

- Provide engineering service to the customer in Japan during projects development and launch phase
- Support integrated project team (IPT) for internal development activities
- Interface between Customer and Project team in Hannover and Sibiu.

- Serve customers needs and ensure good communication between customer Honda and Continental
- Support provider within R&D department
- Clarification and alignment of customer requirements
- Support sales for sample delivery phases

<Area of Responsibility/Tasks>
▪ Clarify the technical demand from customers during project development;
▪ Vist to customer to support development activities - depending on needs
▪ Join the regular on-site meeting with customer project team;
▪ Transfer the customer's expectation to internal project teams including key milestones and technical requirements
▪ Alignment between Honda relevant departments and communicate Honda commonly agreed view into Continental
▪ Maintain and align technical requirements with the customer with support ww ESS experts
▪ Clarify and confirm technical changes align required changes with customer and IPT (technically, commercially support from Sales)
▪ Prepare tools and cable hareness for SW download
▪ Clarify reflash SW package with SW Project Manager
▪ Download SW package into prototypes 
▪ SW reflashing results checking in the vehicle
▪ Document reflash activities: part numbers tracing, label renewing, checking results after reflash and samples delivery status 
▪ CAN-Bus datas logging via CAN tools
▪ Diagnostics data logging with Diagnostics tools
▪ Collect measurement data from development prototypes installed in the vehicle
▪ Onsite support to customers during projects launch phase: end of line test, fill and bleeding, and  trouble shooting ;  
▪ Assitant the customers for successful initial system operation in the vehicle
▪ Provide ESS related tools training if demanded by the customer
▪ Make the launch report to IPT team for open issues 
▪ on-site joint tuning or vehicle tests with customers together with ww ESS experts
▪ Parameters dowload to check vehicle performance;
▪ SW update for engineering evaluation in customer side
▪ Good ESS system understanding
▪ Support to aling the plan (specification, schedule) of prototype parts delivery plan with Customer and Project team.
▪Alignment the delivery schedule with Hamakita plant as waypoint in Japan.
▪Support Sales to define the appropriate parts for each customer order.

▪ 3 years experience in automotive industry is preferred
▪ CAN-Bus or Diagnostics tools experience is desired
▪ Engineering service experience is a plus
▪ CATIA (CAD) experience is a plus
▪ Understand vehicle and automotive parts development process
▪ Worked in international team for at least 2 years, fluent communication in English both writing and speaking
