Technical Project Leader

1,Represents all R&D Functions within the Project Core Team.
2,Ensures the coordination of the technical disciplines.
3,Leads and manages the technical part of the project within the specified time, budget and quality framework and is responsible for the overall technical consistency of engineering activities within this project.
4,Responsible for product design, development and testing and is the main interface to the customer regarding technical topics.5,Responsible for the technical part of the project for a Project Class S Project.
6,Has the functional responsibility to the team members of the Technical Project Team and is authorized to give directives within the project work and to manage the team members regarding capacity usage within the agreed frame.
7,Has the control of the approved R&D project budget and the product costs (agreed with the Project Manager) and reports the project status within scope.

1,Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering (e.g. Software, Mechanical or Electrical Eng.).
Alternative: Bachelor or Master with appropriate experience.

2,At least 3 years in the automotive or (consumer) electronics industry, preferable in a variety of functions.

3,Several years of work experience in preferably two technical fields, e.g. EE, ME, SW, SYS, … and basic experience in project management.

4,At least 2 years of work experience as discipline project leader (e.g. SW, EE, ME, SYS, Test).

5,Experience in intercultural teams/projects preferred.
