PHP Developer (with PIMcore)

We are looking for a talented PHP developer to design world-class PIMcore features and interfaces for our evolving product information management requirements. As a PHP developer, you will be responsible for developing customized solutions within PIMcore. 

As a member of the global IT Sales Team you will support the business in multiple regions and business areas. You should have extensive experience in improving processes and adoption using the PIMcore platform, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. You will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy new business processes.

Support the troubleshooting of integrations to connected systems (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP ERP) and the daily operations of PIMcore within an IT service management process.

The position contains the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Configuring and developing the PIMcore application to implement business changes.
• Designing and coding customized solutions within the PIMcore platform.
• Monitoring of interfaces  
• Management of the infrastructure (AWS).
• Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
• Support medium to large scale enterprise level projects 
• Writing documentation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the Information Technology field.
• Prior experience and knowledge of PIMcore platform administration and/or development incl. PHP, MySQL, REST-API and AWS.
• Prior experience working in project teams and designing solutions.
• Knowledge and familiarity of product-life-cycle processes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience within the Information Technology field preferred.
• Prior experience and knowledge in PIMcore configuration and implementation incl. PHP, MySQL, REST-API, Javascript and AWS.
• Ability to manage projects.
