Business Controlling is responsible for driving the future profitability of Continental, by preparing profitability analysis with the goal of defining customer's pricing for new quotes.

In this role you:

Prepare complex pricing and profitability analyses supporting New Business Quotes (RFI, RFQ) and post award cost changes with minimal supervision

Analyze revenue, cost, margin and pricing while providing insight and recommendations for timely and effective business decisions with minimal managerial guidance

Collaborate with Sales Executives, Account Managers, Program Managers, Manufacturing Operations and Engineering to gather and question all cost assumptions used to prepare a quote. (Assumptions include: bill of material, manufacturing costs, R&D costs, etc.)

Present to Senior Management quote, pricing and cost assumptions

Once the new business is won, perform periodic updates of the business cases. Analyze the impact of cost changes and recommend adjustments to pricing that will support business objectives and plans

Work directly with Sales and Program Management to improve financial status of current and potential programs by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends and recommending appropriate actions

Prepare price breakdowns which sales will use in customer communications

Perform complex ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management and to support business needs

Challenge the cost inputs used in the quotes, and the conventional methodologies to improve the process and develop new approaches

Profil kandidáta

As a successful candidate you have:
A Bachelors in Finance, accounting, or economics with 5 years of professional experience preferred in Controlling
Alternatively a bachelors in engineering with 5 years of professional experience and financial and business acumen
Expert English language skills (written and spoken). This role requires daily interaction with the USA, therefore is almost 100% in English.
Excellent MS Office program knowledge especially Excel

In addition you exhibit:
Strong communication skills and desire to present to Sr Management
High level of initiative, assertiveness, ability and confidence to challenge norms and intercultural competencies
Comfort with last minute deadlines and ambiguous situations
Is able to sift thru lots of data to find relevant meaningful information
High levels of: drive, urgency, negotiation skills, team work, and commitment
