Test Engineer

Test Engineer (Junior, Medior, Senior):

• Develops, installs, debugs and releases test programs and equipment for electronic products manufactured in the location
• Creates technical specifications, define concepts, initiates procurements and ensures the project requirements are followed for new equipment;
• Collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional departments to achieve project milestones;
• Ensures Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are achieved;
• Drives continuous improvement and structured problem solving;
• Supports maintenance team and operations.

On your daily work you will be responsible for:

• Equipment industrialization, installation and release;
• Process standardization and optimization and troubleshooting of test equipment,
• Creation of technical procedures and manufacturing and maintenance instructions;
• Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes related to test engineering in terms of quality, robustness, and capacity;
• Structured approach and statistically based analysis to support improvement;
• Compliance of equipment and procedures to known industrial and automotive standards, internal technical and quality rules.
• Development of new testing approach in collaboration with R&D;
• Participation in function related activities with other Continental location’s engineering departments;
• Training and development of interns, junior and medior engineers;
• Training of maintenance technicians.

You can be a perfect match in our team if you have:

• Bachelor degree in engineering (electrical or electronics) or other related field;
• Working experience in testing field of automotive (preferably) manufacturing area;
• Quality Orientation, Quality tools and Quality in Launch;
• Technical realization of production test equipment;
• Knowledge of C/C++/C# programming languages;
• Experience in LabWindows CVI and/or NI TestStand and/or NI LABVIEW and/or Keysight BTI and/or Teradyne TestStation software packages;
• Process Capability and Process documentation;
• Product and Prototype build knowledge;
• Lean Manufacturing;
• Customer Orientation;
• Self-driven & Strong ownership;
• Networking & Collaboration;
• Good English knowledge speaking, listening, reading and writing.

• 1704-3600 Eur. (before withholding taxes);
• Extra paid On Call duty.
