Software Engineer Intern - Reference Systems
Your tasks
In the Budapest Artificial Intelligence Development Centre of Continental, Autonomous Mobility, we create next-generation automotive software solutions that make automated driving safe and affordable.
We work towards Vision Zero, a goal to eliminate fatal accidents happening every day on the world’s roads. We are looking for creative minds who are passionate about shaping the future of automated driving by delivering world-class perception and fusion systems.
Our teams develop complex and high-performing reference systems based on lidar, camera, and navigational data from high-end sensors. Hardware, data, and machine learning teams collaborate with us to provide high-quality reference data for different business needs, such as product validation.
Your Task
Contribute to the design and implementation of software tools.
Optimize algorithms and workflows to reduce processing times and improve efficiency.
Support proof-of-concept developments to validate new ideas and technologies.
Collaborate closely with peers to ensure prompt integration of selected solutions.
Your profile
- Ongoing MSc or BSc studies in a technical area: Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related.
- Collaborative, enthusiastic, open-minded, team player attitude.
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours/week.
- Good programming skills in Python.
- Good command of the English language.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Git.
- Familiarity with Lidar point clouds.
- Familiarity with GIS.
