Scrap Material Handler - Extrusion

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Ensuring Scrap is accurately documented and tracked throughout the manufacturing process
• Properly handling Scrap ensuring it does reenter the the production process
• Using technology to efficiently mange scrap operation
• Leveraging available machinery to transport scrap throughout the plant
• Communicating with various levels of plant personnel about Scrap
• Ensuring ALL operations are within stated guidelines including Safety
• Performing other duties as directed by the appropriate personnel

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE 

HS Diploma/ GED

Must be qualified/certified to operate Forklifts.

MS Office Knowledge

SBS Knowledge

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

• Forklift Certification Preferred
• 3-5 years forklift experience Expected
• Work Keys Test Score, Silver

• The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.

• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
