Chemical and Product Failure Analyst (m/f/diverse) - REF62565X
Responsabilități
We are looking for you to support our Business Area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) in the Forensic and Benchmark Analysis team. As Chemical and Produkt Failure Analyst (m/f/diverse) you will support the global OESL segments by performing material and product failure analysis (FFA level 2 and 3), benchmarking of current vs competitor products in the market and supporting warranty claims.
Your role will include the following tasks:
- Problem solving to support field failure analysis (FFA) and claim management
- Conduct benchmarking activities of current vs competitor products in the market
- Lead and support chemical and material analysis for manufacturing issues
- Track / monitor the status and results of department requests
- Support the development of the global forensic and benchmarking processes / standards
- Coordination of studies with universities and joint labs
- Interfacing with serial product introduction (prototyping, serial production)
- Maintain close communication with internal customers and material / product test labs to support activities
Cerințe
- Minimum Bachelor degree in rubber / polymer technology, chemistry, physics, materials engineering, engineering or similar field of qualification
- Profound experience with elastomer and polymer science
- Knowledge of OESL products, materials and manufacturing processes
- Several years experience within the automotive industry is preferred and some years of practical experience in material development, application engineering or product development is required
- Know-how and experienced in project management and problem solving analysis
- Very good English and good German language skills written and spoken
- Analytical skills, ability to work autonomously, flexibility, good interpersonal skills, diplomacy, open-mindedness and very good communication skills
- You like working together with people from other cultures all around the globe
- Willingness to travel (approx. 25 %)
