Intern - Industrial Sales, Summer 2024

THE POSITION

During this 8 - 10 week internship program, our Sales Interns will get a firsthand look at the life of a field sales employee.

The intern will also receive mentoring/training in the following:
• 1-on-1 mentoring with senior sales executives
• Ride along with experienced sales reps during customer visits
• Opportunity to contribute to high-level sales strategy projects
• Small group discussion sessions on Continental’s go-to-market strategies

Portions of the program may be remote while other training will require all expenses paid to travel to our Fairlawn, Ohio ContiTech headquarters and other locations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree in sales or related field
• Expected graduation date 5/2025
• Able to work 40 hours per week during normal business hours
• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
• Intermediate/Advance Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Must be able to travel
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be 21 years old (for car rentals)
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Working towards a Business Degree
• Previous sales experience
