IE Manager (Machining Segment)

Plan and manage all aspects of industrial engineering activities for the Machining & Plating Area.

For Projects (New Products) development:

• Responsible to validate manufacturing concept and investment required for quoting new projects in collaboration with support areas CIE.
• Evaluate and manage the project assignment within the team members in order to balance workload.
• Coordinate and track the project leaders in the execution of industrialization projects in machining segment from the awarded stage until SOP and ramp up, achieving the required KPIs
• Ensure that the industrialization and installation of new equipment are delivered on time and fulfilling the acceptance protocols.
• Support the team in the leading the simultaneous industrial meetings.

Process control:

• Responsible for Technical Availability (OEE), Cycle time. Targets achievement and improvement.
• Process Improvement strategy and execution.
• Capacity planning and flexibility strategy definition and execution
• Stablish and track HC requirement.

Investment:

• Plan and manage investment budget.
• Support the team in budget validation, planning and management for equipment tools as staffing requirements.
• Achievement of the GPA targets

People Management

• Develop and track careers path and training need for each team member.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Manufacturing and SW technologies, systems, infrastructure, standards and procedures for Machining and Plating Processes.  
• Lean Production principles, methods and tool
• Industrial Engineering management (including Systems and processes)        
• CNC & PLC Programming
• Cutting tools development.
• Supplier management.                                             
• Future technologies, Industry 4.0 applications, smart factory related technologies                   
• Quality management methods (including tools, policies, systems and processes)              
• Product knowledge (functionalities and applications)
• Soft skills: team & talent management, leadership and networker skills, intercultural sensitivity, negotiation, conflict management                                      
• Financial skills (process, technology on production level)                                 
• Project management skills, tools and techniques                                                   
• Management skills, tools and techniques (e.g. balanced scorecard, benchmarking, decision making)
• University degree, preferably in production or engineering management, industrial or mechanical engineering or related discipline
• Professional experience, at least 7 years in machining and plating processes.
• Leadership experience, at least 4 years in a leadership position

Experience in Break Calipers production, Housing & Anchor Machining desirable
