Safety & Health Group Leader - Tires

Descrição da função

  • Coordinates the Occupational Safety and Health group in achieving the plant objectives and the specific department objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with the legal requirements in force, as well as Continental group requirements. 
  • Ensures the effectiveness, durability and continuous improvement of the occupational safety and health management system, according to the requirements of the ISO 45001 standard.
  • Coordinate and participate directly in the risk assessment for the occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Communicates to the employer and the employees the new legal / internal requirements of the company, applicable in case of legislative / internal changes in the ESH field.
  • Prepares the necessary documents to implement the applicable legal requirements as well as the internal requirements.
  • Coordinates and supervises the activity of the external healthcare provider. Organizes health campaigns against the most common medical conditions. 
  • Collaborates with the employees and / or employees' representatives, external prevention and protection services, occupational medicine doctor for prevention and protection measures.
  • Establishes the areas that require safety and health signaling at work, the type of signaling in accordance with the legislation in force. 
  • Establishes standards, policies and requirements for the integration of workplace safety in processes (utilization of equipment and tools, maintenance, etc.). 
  • Implements and monitors the performance management of contractors.
  • Ensures accidents reporting according to the legislative requirements in force, but also to the internal requirements. 
  • Prepares within the established deadlines the information, reports and situations required by the company's management / legislation in connection with the development of specific OSH activities.
  • Provides support in solving safety problems at work, makes project proposals in terms of safety (safety technology, ergonomics, maintenance of safety equipment). 
  • Checks the way of completing, keeping and recording the "Individual training sheets" according to the legislation in force. 
  • Carries out and implements the action plan in case of serious and / or imminent danger and checks the training of employees.
  • Performs on-site inspections, audits.
  • Performs and monitors the measures requested by the labor inspectors during the control visits and those established following the investigation of work events / accidents / incidents.  
  • Makes and completes the register with applicable legal requirements and other requirements.
  • Ensures the periodic evaluation of compliance degree with the applicable legal requirements and other requirements.
  • Ensures the identification of risks and the evaluation.
  • Establish, implements and monitors the application of the Communication Plan established for occupational safety and health.
  • Performs and participates in the analysis performed by management (management review).

  • University studies in engineering, chemistry or natural sciences
  • 3 years of experience in the field of occupational safety and health represents a plus
  • Experience of the internal auditor (audit preparation, audit, etc.)
  • Experience in assessment of occupational safety and health risks
  • Experience in health management represents a plus
  • Occupational health and safety specialist course represents a plus
  • Leadership experience.
