Manufacturing Engineer - Global

The job belongs to Central Manufacturing Engineering, a team of Global Operations (Central Function) and is located in Changzhou at Benecke Changshun Eco Trim (Changzhou) Co., Ltd.

Create strategic concepts, standards (e.g. machinery, equipment, documents ect.) and processes and ensure implementation within Manufacturing Engineering (at plants). Action fields are Investment Projects, Maintenance, Tool Service.

Provide support for contribution to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit (e.g. with respect to investments, capacity and headcount planning)

Functional lead of cross-functional teams (competence and action fields; project teams)

Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities by applying CBS methods and training measures 

Interface to Group Sector or BA functions in order to gather local manufacturing engineering/facility management requirements (e.g. ESH and ergonomics) and demands and other feedback 

Participate in and/or steer global or local manufacturing engineering related and cross-functional projects

Member in Center of Competence teams and/or Expert Groups on Group Sector level

Preparation/Review of Capital Requests and specifications

Performing/Guidance and provide support in the different phases of projects (etc. feasibility studies, supplier negotiations, acceptance tests, installation, commissioning etc.)

Support the local CapEX Processes in the area of expertise.

Engineering Degree (e.g. Mechanic, Electrical etc.)

5 or more years professional experience in project management (investment projects) and/or maintenance

Knowledge about CBS methods (lean management)

Leading a team

Experience in working with a international team

Language: English (mandatory)
