PR Strategy & Execution

▪ Lead, create, and execute PR strategy in APAC to create and maintain a favorable corporate image for Continental brand & company
▪ Develop PR tools, resources, and content to ensure markets fully utilize PR channels and facilitate execution for markets
 ▪ Identify APAC-relevant and newsworthy topics with BA management function roundtable to create relevant content
 ▪ Liaise and align synergies with Global PR team to engage resources for region
▪ Build senior managemernt PR profile in relevant PR media and social channels
 

Media Relations & Training 

Media relations
▪ Create strategy to build press and media relations with relevant media for region and in markets 
▪ Manage local market interview requests, including providing Q&As, briefings on key topics to spokesperson

Spokespersons Training and Development
▪ Provide media training to designated media spokespersons in markets, such as Market Heads, Marketing Manager, PR Managers.
▪Train up more technical and R&D experts within APAC for media preparedness
▪ Develop PR/Media relations training for people development and skills level up 

Media Monitoring & Crisis Management
▪ Key user and drive implementation of media monitoring tools
▪ Create management messaging and escalate when needed during crisis management.

Requisitos

Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, ability to craft clear messaging and write compelling copy (English)
  • Strong and confident communication in presentations and public speaking 
  • Clear understanding of overall media landscape and environment
  • Superior interpersonal skills to cultivate and build relationship with various stakeholders
  • Creative mindset, dare to share and execute new ideas
  • Third-party agencies and vendor management
  • Solid project management skills

Education and Experience

  • University or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of the tire industry or automotive aftermarket industry a plus.
  • 8+ years experience in Marketing roles in similar industries or agencies
  • 5+ years of PR / Media with proven track record required
  • Additional experience in other disciplines and functions a plus
  • English native (written and spoken)
  • Chinese or other Asian language or cultural knowledge a plus.
  • International working experience is a must.
