Our location in Auburn Hills, Michigan is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator – Original Equipment (OE) Prototype and Special Orders to join our Original Equipment Tire US team! The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.

THE POSITION

  • Responsible for processing and tracking PLT (Passenger Light Truck) OE (Original Equipment) prototype and special orders of products for OE Americas’ new product developments.
  • Execution of shipments and returns beyond regular production shipments for the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
  • Coordinates Projects and Programs in interaction with the O.E. customers, their portals, Key Account Managers, Account Managers, Development Engineers, Plant Material Specialists and Handlers, Plant QA (Quality), Traffic, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.
  • Update of prices of experimental and test tires, keeping track of records like proof of deliveries and other support information to balance accounts
  • Ensures compliance of Customs and Customer Specific Requirements like commercial invoices, international government forms, packing, labeling, electronic Advance Shipping Notices
  • Management of the Auburn Hills Warehouse including shipping and receiving, inventory control, disposition of tires

Requisitos

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Minimum 2 years or more relevant experience if no Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft tools 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
  • Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year internal (Continental) experience
  • Knowledge of SAP and Citrix preferred
