Shift Leader for plastics production

• Supports Production Management in daily management tasks in the shop floor for multiple production lines
• Ensures proper running of production and goal achievements in his/her shift; works in three shifts
• Executes Shift Leader routines: Standard Work; 5s; Jidoka; Non-Conformance Management; rework, re-processing and sorting; production re-start process, etc.
• Ensures that all Poka Yokes of the line are verified
• Identifies systematic failures and initiate Problem-Solving measures
• Follows actions that require the use of Root Cause Problem Solving
• Confirms that preventive maintenance schedule by technicians is done per plan
• Performs Gemba Walks
• Executes LSW Routines and discusses with Production Manager upon problems and/or deviations in routine fulfilment
• Supports shop floor ESH coordinator to check potential safety issues
• Manages the resources in the shift (material / people / equipment); prioritizes the activities to manage the existent workload
• Evaluates and develops the team, teach and coach, in terms of required knowledge / specifications /capabilities and behavior
• Reports relevant information and KPIs to superior and other stakeholders

• High school degree, preferably in technical field
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in the automotive electronics industry
• Manufacturing related technologies, systems, infrastructures, standards, and processes advanced knowledge
• Lean Production principles, methods and tools (e.g., SW, LSW, Jishuken, LIB, TPM, 5S) advanced knowledge
• Product advanced knowledge (Functionalities and Applications)
• Logistics Management (including Logistics policies, systems, and processes, e.g. production scheduling) advanced knowledge
• Quality Management (including Quality policies, systems and processes e.g. Jidoka /Poke Yoke/ Problem Solving) advanced knowledge
• Advanced MS Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong planning and organizing skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Fluent in English
