High Speed Design Lead Engineer (m/f/diverse)

We are looking for you to support our business area Autonomous Mobility at the location Ulm. As high speed design lead engineer (m/f/diverse) you are responsible for the conception, design and verification of high speed digital interfaces for autonomous driving ECUs.

Your experience in signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) enables you to define the concept of complex control units? You have a deep understanding of high frequency design evaluation and simulation?
Then look forward to the following tasks in your day-to-day business:

• Central contact person regarding SI and PI for an ADAS project
• Support of hardware development regarding high speed design (concept, stack up definition, layout review, simulation)
• Coordination (lead) of the different work packages regarding high speed simulations and measurement verification
• Prioritization of tasks, handover, assign and steer several simulations and measurement specialists
• Evaluation of results and implementation in the product
• Evaluation of customer and interface requirements as well as the implementation in the respective series projects
• Creation of specifications and support of the project team within customer and supplier communication
• Reporting and documentation of assigned tasks towards the project team
• Support with problem analysis regarding high speed design in the projects and initiation of improvement measures
• Cross-divisional collaboration and knowledge sharing with experts in Continental EMC networks

• Academic degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience with the design of high frequency circuits
• Experience in the evaluation of simulations (for example SI, PI, Spice)
• Profound knowledge in the analysis of circuit diagrams, layout and parameters of electronic components
• Good German and English language skills, written and spoken
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Team player and strong coordination skills
• Ability to analyse technical problems and solution oriented mindset
