EDI IT Applications Analyst
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is the electronic exchange of documents with our business partners and is a key core capability for the success of our company. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to perform the following tasks:
Design and maintain all EDI maps to ensure compliance with business requirements. Analyze all EDI implementations and recommend improvements to processes.
Develop and maintain communication links with trading partners and oversees integration of messages.
Coordinate with EDI trading partners to resolve all production issues and perform tests to resolve all EDI issues according to specifications.
Troubleshoot failed EDI translations and adjusting the map - perform ASN comparisons and analysis.
Provide production support for EDI processes. Including onboarding of customers/suppliers
Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting and implementation of EDI processes.
Create, change, and support EDI transaction mapping using industry standard languages and methodologies.
Effectively communicate skills with internal and external partners
Works independently with minimal supervision; Elevates questions and ideas effectively
- 3 years IT experience in the field
-2 years EDI mapping experience
-Familiar with Key EDI languages (EDIFACT, X12) and EDI messages (856/DESADV, 830/DELFOR, etc)
-Comprehension of EDI specifications from automotive customers
-Knowledge of EDI communication methods (VAN, oFTP, sFTP)
Knowledge of SAP transactions: WE20, WE05, EMFOR
Familiarity with Axway EDI translation and object browser tools
