Tooling Technician III - ETO Coordinator

• Coordinate all Experimental Tire Operations (ETO) activities under the direction of the Process Engineering Manager.
• Ensure experimental tires are built, identified, cured, and processed according to specifications and tire engineer instructions.
• Oversee preparation, inventory control, and disposition of experimental components and tires.
• Manage OE production steps during shift operations, including startup and runout of OE articles.
• Collaborate with Master Planning and SCP/WH to meet weekly market demands.
• Develop and execute the ETO production plan based on tooling, machine, and personnel availability.
• Implement corrective actions for deviations and provide feedback and reports to tire engineers.
• Conduct quality audits, data analysis, and testing; recommend improvements.
• Support stock counting, WIP improvements, and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Promote and follow ESH (Environment, Safety, and Health) standards; act as a role model for safe behavior.
• Other duties as assigned.

THE ENVIRONMENT

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Three or more years’ experience in tire manufacturing
• Certified as tire build operator, tire build set up, curing operator or curing set up
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 or more years experience in tire manufacturing
