Working Student - Makers Garage IoT (m/f/d) - REF88014P

In Makers Garage we are working in a startup-type environment designing and developing innovative applications, cyber-physical prototypes, and functional proof-of-concepts for our Digital Solutions Tires business.

For our team at the location Hanover-Stöcken we are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) starting as soon as possible (October /November 2025). The position comes with a working time of 20 hours per week for at least 12 months.

As an Embedded working student you will…

• develop software and/or hardware prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility and functionality of concepts.
• keep current with technology trends, relevant academic research, software skills and tools and disseminate this knowledge among experts and team members.
• exploratively figure out innovative solutions to given problems in a design thinking manner.

• Student (m/f/diverse) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Informatics, Embedded Automation Design, or related field
• Experience in programming with C/C++/C# for embedded systems, microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi or others (Python, Java etc.)
• Confident handling of MS Office-programs
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken and German skills beneficial
• High team orientation, open-minded, and analytical thinking
