Looking for a self-driven highly skilled developer to join EDI development in CT SCM/EDI competence center. This position is responsible for providing the design, configuration, testing, documentation and deployment of EDI and application interfaces for all BU. The role will require work directly with the business and other IT competence centers to define requirements and advice technical solutions.     

System Change Requests: Follow the system change process by carrying out tasks as required during the full lifecycle of a system change request resulting in process improvements per defined business requirements.

Business Process Analysis and Improvements: Assist with business requirements gathering sessions and prepare assigned deliverables resulting in detailed and fully documented business requirements definitions. Implement system solutions that result in business process improvements that increase business efficiencies and effectiveness.

Project and Teamwork: Perform as a project team member and sometimes a project team lead on project implementations; executing assigned tasks resulting in successful, on time and on budget projects. Provide value as a team member in cross functional implementations while demonstrating effective interpersonal skills resulting in successful systems implementations.

Administration, Communication and Documentation: Establish responsible deadlines and manage time effectively; accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional; establish effective working relationship with business users; seek input from mentors and supervisors.

Professional Experience:

Required:

  • Requires a minimum of 5+ years of working experience with EDI development
  • Experience with EDI – EDIFACT, ANSIX12, VDA;
  • familiar with IDocs – what fields represent and how to use them in mappings without guidance
  • knowing how to read and interpret guidelines and apply it in the mapping
  • Experience with OFTP2, AS2, SFTP
  • Experience with API interfaces, SOAP, REST and JSON
  • Familiarity and understands EDI Shipments, different type of packaging for Shipments

Optional:

  • Experience with PO 7.5 version (on prem version)
    • B2B and EDI integration using B2B Addon
    • Java programming experience, being able to write/modify UDFs
  • Experience with S4 HANA, TransportationOrderGenericRequest
  • Experience with XSLT and XPath is a plus
  • Experience with MuleSoft
