담당 업무

Legal Counsel 

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to business colleagues
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements to be entered into with or concerning Korean customers and business partners
  • Work closely with other members of the Global Law Department and coordinate legal strategies for businesses with Korean customers and business partners
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including top management, strategy, sales, engineering, and finance, to ensure a thorough understanding of legal implications and risks associated with Korean customer and business partner related strategies and decisions
  • Provide legal training and guidance to various business colleagues, particularly in relation to contracts and business practices with Korean customers and business partners
  • Represent in legal disputes, negotiations, and settlements with external parties, including Korean customers and business partners, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize legal exposure 
  • Analyze and address legal implications of new or revised regulations on business operations in and outside of Korea
  • Provide proactive legal guidance and counsel to support the launch of new products or business initiatives 
  • Manage various types of litigations relating to matters concerning Korean customers and business partners
  • Support other legal matters and topics concerning businesses in Korea as may be required from time to time as a member of the Korea Law Department

지원자 프로필

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification from an accredited law school
  • License to practice law in Korea (Member of Korean Bar Association)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably with a focus on the automotive industry
  • Significant experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts in Korean and English
  • Strong knowledge of Korean laws and regulations, preferably those relevant to the automotive industry
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across various functions and regions
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
