Intern (Legal Counsel)
The Intern supports the lawyers of the team for the timely provision of appropriate legal solutions business colleagues with a constant view of creating value for the company. His/Her role is mainly a preventative role. As such She/He has to get to know and understand the business, the internal procedures and decision-making processes. The Intern works under the supervision of one or several lawyers of the EMEA3 team.
The Intern has to support the lawyers of the team for the timely provision of appropriate legal solutions business colleagues with a constant view of creating value for the company. His/Her role is mainly a preventative role. As such She/He will have to get to know and understand the business, the internal procedures and decision-making processes. The Intern will work under the supervision of one or several lawyers of the EMEA3 team.
The Intern may have to
· Carry out legal risks analysis,
· Draft, negotiate contracts (around 60% in English),
· Provide reliable and professional legal opinions and support,
· Draft legal memos
EXCLUSIONS: The Intern will not have to deal with Tax (done by the Finance Department) and labor law (done by Labor Relations France or HR in countries other than France).
- Business law degree (“Master II/DJCE”) as well as a foreign additional education (e.g. LL.M.),
- Persuasiveness, ability to draft contracts and effectively communicate legal and non-legal advice,
- Fluent in French and English.
- Good level of effective communication, self-reflection, result and customer orientation, team orientation.
