PLT QA Chief Inspector

The PLT QA Chief Inspector will:

Supervise QA Supervisors and EOL supervisor, QA Graders, QA technicans, EOL inspectors and Overinspectors.  Supervise Grader classification of anomalous tires and inspection of major repairs.  Over-inspect EOL and inspection personnel via Grader, Oversee initial product start-up release and document and execute QA holds. 

1. Supervise and schedule PLT QA Supervisors and Graders
2. Report KPI’s as defined by QA Manager.
3. Report QA holds, and coordinates sorting and release.
4. Ensure consistent and accurate classification of all off-standard tires.
5. Document and coordinate all QA warehouse holds.
6. Report KPI results weekly and monthly.
7. Ensure inspection of major repaired tires via Grader.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by QA Manager.
9. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

3-5 years of Supervisor Experience.

Associates Degree in Technical Field.

The starting annual salary for this role is $102,890 a year.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
