Development Engineer for Tire Building Processes (m/f/diverse) REF15162Z, R&D Stoecken

As a process development engineer (m/f/diverse) in PDTA you are responsible to enhance and develop our tire assembly and cold preparation production processes for our customers in passenger, truck & bus, commercial specialty and two-wheel tire areas. Additionally, your main responsibilities in this position are as follows:

• You support engineering, manufacturing and product development to improve tire production and to introduce new and advanced tire designs
• Your tasks include the development and industrialization of new process technologies from initial idea to serial production; as a project leader, team member or in line function
• You develop process models (on demand supported by FEM) and plan and execute Process Design FMEAs
• You define process requirements as input for our machine equipment standard and plan, execute and statistical evaluate  processing trials
• You are eager to gain the knowledge how to define and standardize our process specifications worldwide
• You specify and release new processes for serial production and accompany the industrialization in pilot plants as well as the technology roll-out for a worldwide technology availability

• Academic degree in Engineering or Science
• First job experience and experience in project leadership required
• Ability to motivate and lead a team to perform excellent even in difficult times
• Structured problem solving skills that enable to analyze matters scientifically and systematically
• Clear, open and transparent communication to all relevant stakeholders
• Good language skills in English (written and spoken)
