Senior Staff Telematics Test Engineer


•    Analyze and review requirements to be tested by System test.
•    Design, implement and validate test cases for various vehicle and telematics features
•    Define and maintain traceability of test cases to relevant requirements / architecture
•    Report, re-test and track defects until proper resolution
•    Implement and execute automated tests, debug test cases and maintain the automated test environment
•    Assist the SW teams to analyze problem reports and determine the root cause
•    Assist quote teams by providing effort estimations for the test discipline
•    Participate in sprint/PI planning, SCRUM, and continuous improvement tasks
•    Adhere to Continental's SW development process and follow ASPICE practices

•    Bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
•    5 years of experience testing embedded systems
•    5 years of experience working with CAN, UDS and Ethernet
•    3 years of experience developing automated test cases
•    2 years of experience with scripting (bash, python, java, perl or similar)
•    Good understanding of C/C++ programming
•    Experience creating/editing vehicle simulations (CAPL)
•    Experience with Canoe and/or Vehicle Spy
•    Experience with GIT
•    Familiar with Linux User Space
•    Experience leading and coaching teams of test engineers
•    Experience testing and troubleshooting vehicle at customer locations
•    Basic understanding of AUTOSAR Classic architecture
•    Basic understanding of electrical schematics
•    Willingness to travel (<10% of the time)
