Data Analyst & Visualist for Timisoara location

For the newly established Data Analytics & Reporting department in Automotive Finance & Controlling, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Analyst & Visualist.
This role involves analyzing data to support business decisions and creating & designing compelling visualizations that transform complex data into clear & actionable insights.

Main Tasks:

Perform detailed exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.
Utilize statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
Work with large datasets to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis
Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, or similar.
Develop and design data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and findings.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into visual solutions.
Ensure visualizations are user-friendly and accessible to non-technical stakeholders and follow the governance standards
Generate regular and ad hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
Develop and maintain documentation for data analysis processes and methodologies
Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure data solutions align with business objectives.
Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on using data visualizations and reports.

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data analysis and data visualization.
Knowledge of Financial Reporting logic, tools (e.g. FiRe, SAP R/3 and BW) and guidelines.
Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or similar.
Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and data manipulation.
Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus or SQL /data querying is of advantage.
Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and other BI tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
Experience in working in international and intercultural teams preferred
