Application Engineer Precision Sealing Solutions OESL (m/f/d) - REF80903Y

We are looking for you, an Application Engineer (m/f/diverse), to support the Precision Sealing Solutions (PSS) in our Business Area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) at the location Northeim.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

Execution and monitoring of project-specific development activities within product application engineering
Development of products according to customer specifications
Execution of the technical, project-specific customer service
Acquisition of new projects in cooperation with the sales department
Completion of all deliverables for Application Engineering specified within the project management system (Quality Gate System)
Documentation of all project activities of Application Engineering in the project management system PLANISWARE
Elaborating/evaluating feasibility checks for RFQ utilizing multidisciplinary teams
Support for new and change management projects in the PLC from Gate 10-90
Analysing and improving existing products
Support of sales and project management in customer service

Academic degree in Engineering or equivalent
Several years experience in the automotive industry, including customer interaction
Experience in direct customer contact
Knowledge about OESL related products in design, production, testing
Experience in research and development as product development engineer, design engineer or project manager
Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Experiences in international and intercultural environment
Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
Very good German language skills (written and spoken)
Strong team player and good communicator at various levels
Willingness to travel
