Global Lead Buyer for Production Material - Filler Material (m/w/d)

Coordinate the ContiTech Purchasing Team in the EMEA region for production material to be in line with sourcing strategy and agreed guidelines.
Purchasing Ambassador for the region including coordination of activities with ContiTech & Group Purchasing.
Meet cost requirements, implement and conduct cost saving activities.
Active Support, coordination between Purchasing and SCM.
Active Support, coordination between Purchasing and R&D
Support implementation of Conti standard business processes, according to global standards.
Coordination between implementation team and local process owners.
Support S4 Hana Implementation Project (Imp@ct).
Run and support global/regional/plant purchasing optimization projects, ensure alignment with global/ BA direction.
Coordinate in line with Continental purchasing standards.
Ensure compliance with all policies and processes at all times.
Ensure proper communication of policies and processes.

University degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) and/or extensive experience, related certifications
5+ years of purchasing experience, preferably rubber industry
Strong negotiation skills
Strong networking experience
Experience in variety of projects related to purchasing, cost improvements, efficiency gains. As well, experience in organizational development and transformation
Minimum 3 years experience in leading position
International experience and intercultural understanding
Experience and understanding of international trade
International communication skills, fluent in English, other languages preferable
