Senior Electrical Engineer EN - AN (TM)

In the position of Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of electrical systems and components for automotive applications with focus on access solutions. This role involves designing, testing, and overseeing the manufacturing of electrical products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive electrical engineering, a deep understanding of industry standards, and a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market.

Activities:

Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for automotive products from concept to production;
Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and support layout designs;
Develop and implement test plans to ensure the product meets performance, reliability and safety standards;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate the systems into overall product design;
Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and implement design improvements to mitigate risks;
Manage the validation and verification process, including prototype testing, troubleshooting and optimization (Good EMC knowledge required);
Oversee the transition of designs from prototype to production, working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless implementation;
Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, IEC, SAE, etc.);
Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive electrical engineering and incorporate innovative solutions into product designs;
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on automotive product development;
Proven experience in designing and developing automotive electrical systems and components;
Proficiency in simulation and calculation tools;
Strong understanding of automotive standards and regulations (ISO, IEC, SAE, etc.);
Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, etc.);
Familiarity with software development and programming languages (e.g., C, C++) is a plus;
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues;
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
