THE POSITION

eXplore Tires Supply Chain Management Graduate Program with focus on international tasks and comprehensive training on the job. Introduction to technologies and supply chain management functions with department rotations and a deeper introduction to Plant Operations. An introduction to production processes, Rubber Technologies and material flow in order to gain in-depth operational knowledge about the supply chain management processes.

• Learning assignments with regards to Global Supply Chain Management in plant location as well as international experience in market and central locations 
• Network through involvement in Global Supply Chain Management
• Cross-functional Networking with Manufacturing & Engineering, Manufacturing Controlling and R&D Trainee Programs
• Global plant & market assignments compulsory within the program
• Defined project tasks and cross functional projects within the rotations to get an insight into the collaboration between departments and areas.
• Operational experience as first on-the-job assignments in plant operations
• Operational experience as first on-the-job assignments in market demand management
• Operational experience as first on-the-job assignments in central SCM key functions
• Fulfill central training plan in order to gain technical knowledge, competencies and capabilities in the processes of the manufacturing and logistics environment​, as well as develop an understanding of the tire business and structure.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Plant Operations Manager
• Prospect various departments and roles to prepare for concrete position within SCM.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
-Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or comparable degree with a focus on Logistics / SCM

-Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is not able to offer visa support

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or comparable degree with a focus on Logistics / SCM
