New Product Launch Manager


1.Defines operations project targets (financial, scheduling and scope) = quality triangle            2.Selects operations team members in conjunction with the line management                 
3.Establishes an adequate project base (meetings and cadence, information/ knowledge exchange, documentation, archiving).                 
4.Helps build up a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project                5.Tailors optional activities according to the projects needs and ensure compliance to the processes.               
6.Develops and maintains the Operations Plan in accordance with the valid processes (phases, deliverables, gates, etc.)  life of project. Achieving the agreed operations objectives.                 
7.Perform Risk Management activities, control and steer the implementation of risk items with line and project management
8.Defines the Manufacturing process fitting the product and oversees the creation of the work packages



Customer, BU and Operations Organization:
- Knows existing processes and rules and internal escalation and decision-making structures
- Knows the methods, tools and contact persons for managing the project in operations
- Knows existing processes and requirements from the customer

Operations Project Controlling and Reporting     
- Problem Resolution Management and Escalate Management
- Leading of people (Operations Team members)
- Risk assessment

Technical Knowledge 
- Production technology, processes and test/inspection steps knowledge (SMT, THT, ICT, FA), including database - OEE, PDI, PDB
- Basic technical product knowledge (HW, SW, Mechanical Design, functionality) 
- SAP Systems (change management, build readiness, logistics readiness - components and customer)
