THE POSITION

As the technical lead, you will support the further development of Continental  Tire's B2B web environment and be responsible for the design, creation and testing of Angular web components.  You will collaborate with SCRUM teams of solutions architects back Java back end development teams along with, data engineers in Americas, Europe and Asia. Additionally there will be integration/visualizations with systems that provide digitalization in the areas of Connected Vehicle and Tire Monitoring for Passenger, Commercial and Specialty (agriculture and mining) tire products and services.

• Develop and support highly interactive web pages that have extensive utilization of Angular framework
• Responsibility for the concept, prototype, technical design and development of UI web and mobile components based on business requirements. 
• Collaboration with business partners to analyze user requirements and business objectives to determine application features and functionality.
• Ability to facilitate a highly productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaboration with back end team members for development of restful APIs.
  • Collaboration with global team members in Europe and Malaysia.
• Aligning application design with business goals
• Responsibility for development of test code / test scenarios ensuring high quality.  
• Post roll out, provide production support for global web application.
• Ability to efficiently debug and resolve technical issues.
• Compile technical documentation and user assistance material, requiring excellent written communication.
• Ensure continuous professional self-development.
• Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies to organize and plan projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree, Ideally a in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years total professional experience
• Expert level working with JavaScript and related testing frameworks [5 years]
• Expert level in Angular Framework of experience. [3 years]
• Experience with native mobile development on Android and iOS platforms.
• Experience with web service integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• Ability to communicate effectively with software development team members.
• Exposure to with BDD [Behavior Driven Development]  / Test Driven development  paradigms.
• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.­
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good organizational skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Professional IT Certification, preferred.
